ActiveFuse™ delivers Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate — an advanced polyglycerol ester emulsifier that goes beyond conventional emulsification to actively enhance the penetration and bioavailability of co-formulated active ingredients through the skin's lipid barrier.
By forming lamellar liquid crystalline structures whose bilayer architecture closely mirrors the intercellular lipid lamellae of the stratum corneum, ActiveFuse™ transiently increases lipid domain fluidity at the point of application — creating a temporary permeation pathway through which peptides, vitamins, and other actives can diffuse more efficiently into the viable epidermis and dermis.

Formulation Advantages
ActiveFuse™ is oil-soluble with HLB ~3–4, making it ideal for W/O creams, oil serums, and lamellar liquid crystal delivery systems. At 1–3%, it creates stable, elegant emulsions without the high surfactant loads associated with conventional systems. Most impactful when formulating expensive actives such as peptides, retinoids, or Vitamin C derivatives where maximizing bioavailability is a priority.
